I made it out to Montauk on Friday night and while the conditions seemed close to perfect I did not get so much as a tap the entire night. I fished about 4 spots throwing Super Strike needles, and darters, and as the sun was coming up some storm wildeye shads. Oh well. I'm usually gone before the sun comes up but kept fishing to see if I could save the night with a 1st light bite... Beautiful sunrise.
