Apparently the fishing in the waters close to NYC has been amazing. The night before last I was alerted to at least a few 30 pounders and one just over 50 pounds taken on live bunker in relativity shallow water. The next day i was out with Capt. Bryan Goulart trying for the same but you know how the story goes..."should have been here yesterday" so true. We snagged the bunker with ease as they are everywhere but the bass were not where they should have been ;) We did see a huge dead whale though (pictured above).
