I recently finished Fishing on The Edge by Mike Iaconelli. It's a few years old so this may be old news to some of you but for those who have not read it, it may be worth a look. It's the first book I've read on the subject of professional bass fishing so I'm not sure how it ranks in the category, but I liked it. It's an interesting insight into the life of one of the top guys on the tour. He goes into great detail about how he prepares for a tournament as well as some basics on patterns and what lures to use. Mike is obviously a very colorful character and has done a lot to bring attention to the sport. One criticism would be that he spends too much time focusing on the downward spiral of his marriage. I would have preferred to hear much less of that and way more tournament details and insight or anecdotes on the other pros, etc.

holy cow- what an idiot..do you think he is excited?? must be alot of dough involved...
